“Love is the only reality and it is not a mere sentiment. It is the ultimate truth that lies at the heart of creation.” – Rabindranath Tagore
“If you love deeply, you’re going to get hurt badly. But it’s still worth it.” – C.S. Lewis
“God is love, and he who lives in love, lives in God and God in him.” – 1 John 4:16
Labor of love. Birth pains, incredible abandoning of what was known to sense the melting of familiarity slipping from consciousness. What are you willing to stop doing to find what you’re hiding? See, we all have normal/unconscious actions we take in our daily lives to feel what we know; routine is nice, yes? When routine is gone, what’s left is a void and it is scary and it hurts because we’re detaching. Our routines have an emotional charge, when the the charge is gone (because we choose to focus on what is wanted) we are left with the peeling or sloughing of emotional charges which creates mourning…couple that with exposing what’s under the mask and you have vulnerability.
What is next when faced with vulnerability and sadness simultaneously….we have an opportunity to chose and act. Choose. Then, act. The heart wins, love conquers as we choose our true selves over the material (daily routine, people that placated us, form found in positions…basically all things in the ‘world without’)…..LOVE is TRUTH. We accept ourselves as we are, underbellies and all….and see who is still there surrounding us, loving us just for being who we ARE. Sweet surrender!
Beautiful Jordon, simply beautiful! No surprise your depths have found such genius. You are a joy and treasure!!
